Changelog

Notable changes since 13 October 2026

What's new and what we fixed, newest first.

25 October

  • Accessibility fixes: keyboard focus stays inside dialogs and the command palette, every field shows a clear focus ring, links in text are underlined, light mode has stronger contrast, and screen readers hear what the chain's IV markers mean.
  • Faster pages on phones, and pages show their content even before scripts finish loading.
  • Expiry dates with no options listed no longer appear in the chain.
  • Errors are now reported to us automatically, so we can fix problems sooner.
  • Report a problem: send us a note from the footer, the ⌘K menu or More on phones.

23 October

  • Eleven strategy guides had setup tables that didn't match their worked examples. They now do, and a check keeps them in step.
  • Option quotes are labelled indicative rather than “15-minute delayed”: the free feed adjusts its quotes but doesn't delay them. Only last trades run about 15 minutes late.
  • Zero-days-to-expiry Greeks, profit ranges and expected-move bands are more accurate.

17 October

  • Shared links open straight on the trade, and Share is now a menu: copy the link, copy the card image, or post it.
  • The options chain works properly on phones, with the expected move up front.
  • Strategy guides lead with the example's dollar answers, and the iron condor guide's breakevens are corrected.
  • The tools are shareable and phone-friendly, with worked examples.

14 October

  • A redesign of the whole app, with light and dark themes, a ⌘K command palette and a layout made for phones.
  • A short welcome for first-time visitors and a few one-time tips in the calculator.
  • Every trade gets its own share link, which unfurls as a card showing its payoff.
  • Scan's probability of profit and expected value now match what the calculator shows for the same trade.

13 October

  • Accuracy: options now expire at the 4:00 pm New York close, through daylight-saving changes and early closes, instead of an hour early in winter.
  • Accuracy: each leg uses the interest rate for its own time to expiry, implied volatility is solved reliably, probability of profit accounts for the volatility skew, and breakevens are exact.
  • Data: the interest-rate curve comes from the US Treasury each day, dividends and ex-dividend dates are included in pricing, and each symbol shows its IV rank.
  • Saved trades, a watchlist and in-browser alerts.
