No account means there is very little to hold: your trades and watchlist live in your browser, not on our servers.
Information processed
The service processes ticker searches, calculator inputs, and technical request information needed to provide the tools. Calculator positions may also be represented in the page URL so they can be shared or restored.
Saved trades, watchlist and alerts
Trades you save, your watchlist, alert rules and display preferences are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to or kept on our servers, so they don't follow you to another device or browser, and clearing your browser data deletes them. To keep them current, the pages request market data for the tickers involved, in the same way as the calculator.
Analytics and service providers
Privacy-conscious performance and usage analytics may collect device, page, approximate location, and interaction information. Market-data and hosting providers process requests required to operate the service under their own terms.
Error reports and feedback
When a page fails, an error report goes to our error-tracking provider (Sentry) with the page address, browser and the technical details of the error. It does not include your IP address, cookies or anything stored in your browser. If you use Report a problem, we receive your message, the page address and, only if you type it, your email address so we can reply.
Retention and choices
Technical records are retained only as needed for security, reliability, analytics, and legal obligations. You can limit browser storage and analytics through your browser or privacy controls, although some settings may affect functionality.
Sensitive information
Do not enter account credentials, brokerage details, or other sensitive personal information into calculator fields or shareable URLs.
